James Loke is responsible for the Tru-Marine Group’s overall strategy, with focus on global sales and marketing strategy initiation, development and execution in all the Group’s service stations spanning Singapore, China (Shanghai, Zhoushan, Guangzhou, Tianjin), United Arab Emirates (Dubai), and The Netherlands (Rotterdam).

James has over 16 years of experience in the shipbuilding and repair sector. In the course of his career, he has held various positions in Tru-Marine, starting in a management trainee programme with rotation through all the departments, and subsequently appointed Director of Sales and Marketing. In 2008, he was also part of the start-up team of Tru-Marine Rotterdam, accountable for developing business systems and processes in accordance to Tru-Marine Group policies.

As a leader, James currently holds a key role in driving cross-functional strategic initiatives that enable outstanding customer experience through the achievement of service-level targets. His team oversees a broad range of functions including key account management, business partnerships, brand management, external stakeholder and media relations, as well as corporate social responsibility.

James holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from University College London and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Curtin University.
