At Tru-Marine, we believe that contributing to society is an integral part of building a sustainable and responsible organisation. Beyond delivering technical excellence to the maritime industry, we are committed to making a positive impact on the communities around us. This commitment is reflected in the values and actions of our leadership.

As part of this commitment, Tru-Marine is proud to play our part with a long-standing charitable initiative led by our Deputy Chairman, Lim Soon Hock, who has helped raise more than S$3 million for charitable causes through a purposeful writing initiative.

Turning Knowledge Into Impact

Over the years, Lim Soon Hock has authored multiple books, with all proceeds dedicated to supporting charitable and educational causes. These initiatives have benefited organisations and bursary funds that focus on youth development, education, and support for underprivileged communities.

This reflects a belief shared across Tru-Marine that professional experience, knowledge, and skills can be channelled beyond business to create meaningful social value. Through this initiative, funds were directed towards student bursaries and youth development programmes, helping to create opportunities for future generations.

A Reflection of Tru-Marine’s Values

Tru-Marine has actively contributed to these charitable initiatives as an organisation, reflecting the principles we uphold across the Group. Responsibility, contribution, and long-term thinking remain central to how we operate and guide our approach to giving back to the community.

As a group, Tru-Marine continues to support initiatives that strengthen communities, promote education, and encourage responsible leadership. We believe that meaningful contributions can take many forms, including the sharing of knowledge and experiences for the greater good.

Looking Ahead

Tru-Marine remains committed to playing our part in building stronger communities alongside a stronger industry. As we continue to grow globally, we will stay guided by the belief that sustainable success includes contributing positively to society, today and in the years ahead.
